1) He was referring to the statement that globalization destroys rainforests/the environment.
ReplyDelete2) The sentence is, “Serious critics of globalization acknowledge that deforestation cannot be laid at the door of globalization alone.”
3) It was the failure of global and local governance to adopt and promote conservation and reforestation.
4) Firstly, key actors have to be willing to participate in the change process, as this would empower the UN to be more effective in implementing actions in tackling some of the major humanitarian disasters.
Secondly, nations have to be committed to the pact that they have signed. This is because, steps taken to implement efforts to ameliorate the problems would be more effective if countries were consistent and committed with the pact that they agreed on.
